The flavorful Balamban style of roasted liempo or pork belly as Balamban Liempo is now opens its first take out counter in Makati City.

The notable combination of the Cebu lechon and its herbs and spices, Balamban Liempo in the other hand offers a conducive and economical gourmet liempo experience for Filipinos . 

It comes out with aromatic smell of fresh herbs and spices. Balamban Liempo in its golden brown slab of marbleized pork belly which has a tangy taste with a hint of spice.

They also offer the Balambanok. It has the same unique herbs and spices found in its liempo stuffed inside, resulting in a distinct taste not found in other brands of lechon manok.

The founder and CEO of Balamban Liempo, Mr. Jojo Vergara said that the opening of their first branch in Makati was a milestone for them.

Balamban Liempo was established in July 2009 by Mr. Jojo and Honey Vergara in the town of Balamban which is known for having their own method of grilling the liempo or pork belly using different kinds of herbs and spices.  Their authentic and flavorful concept has their step in putting up their first shop in Mabolo, Cebu City. 

The simple hole-in-the-wall business becomes a growing favorite of locals in Cebu. Clients became regular customers and the spreading of words about them, inspires the owner to plan for a hundred branches by July this year for they already have 80 outlets nationwide.

U.S. Fine Foods Show 2014 Invades The City Of Pines

After bringing forward the U.S. Fine Foods in Manila, Cebu and Ilo-Ilo another city has been visited. This year the U.S. Fine Foods Show was bound in the city of Pines in Baguio City. They showcase the availability, variety with high quality of foods, beverages and ingredient products from U.S.

It's two days of sampling and displays from the exhibitors and sponsors, cooking demonstrations from Chefs of CCA and cocktail networking reception. 

They sample a wide-range variety of U.S. products from meats, poultry, beverages, wines, cheese, dried fruits, nuts, baking and confectionary ingredients, healthy and gourmet products, and convenience foods. 

Aside from that, meeting directly some of the major Philippine suppliers of U.S. foods, beverage and ingredient products is great. 

The fantastic experience and learning about the latest culinary techniques from internationally trained chefs and discovering the innovative product's solution when it comes to cooking. 

The U.S. Fine Foods Show was held last May 22-23, 2014 at the Ambassador Francisco Del Rosario Hall, Baguio Country Club (Left Wing), Baguio City. 

Hoteliers, restaurateurs, bar and cafe owners, supermarket and convenience store operators, food caterers, food consultants and food manufacturers are encouraged to attend in this kind of event. 

The U.S. Fine Food Show in Baguio City is organized by the U.S. Department of Agriculture together with the Center for Culinary Arts-Manila, the Hotel and Restaurant Association in Baguio and the Baguio Country Club.
