Still hunted by his terrifying wartime experiences decades later, Lomax together with his wife (kidman) and best friend Finlay (Skarsgard), set out on a journey to go after one of his captors who had escaped prosecution as a war criminal. As he confronts his tormentor, Lomas finlly buries the ghosts of his tormented past and rediscovers his life.
