Mister Kabab Is Affordable Persian Classic

Mediterranean Food is not new to us. For me, their food is so interesting because I don't usually eat their dishes and even not making it. I find it a privileges to try and experience the good food they have. Have been tried the Kos Greek Ouzeri like them, I discover that they serve healthy food.

It was my first time at Mister Kabab, when I enter to their place the place was very intimidating. Although it has a combination of a Mediterranean and modern design, but it has an aura that gives you a good vibes.

First we have the appetizer platter, its pita bread with Esfenaj Borani (Spinach with Egg), Mirza Gazemi ( Eggplant with Egg), Kadoo Borani (Zucchini with Yoghurt), Kashk Bademjan (Eggplant with whey sauce) dip for Php 420 pesos and Couscous Salad who has tomatoes, olives and fresh coriander for Php 120.

Next we have the Shrimp Korma and the Beef Special Chelo Kabab with Basmati Rice. I love he Basmati Rice, it's kinda unique the rice grains are long and the Beef Kabab was so tender while the Shrimp Korma is a bit spicy for me because as you all know I am not a fan of spicy foods.

They also served us Sorba and the Baklava. The dessert that they served to us s is too sweet although perfect to pair with a cup of Tea.

If you want to go healthy Mediterranean food try Mister Kabab. If you gonna ask me, there is nothing too special with their dishes but one of my favorite is the Shrimp Korma even if its a little spicy.

I was just amaze in their Basmati rice and I admit that it was my first time to see and try it. Their prices is affordable for you can spend Php 500 for two person. They also have pastries and coffee but we haven't got a chance to try it.

Visit their branch at the 3rd floor of Fisher Mall in Quezon Ave.

Enteng Kabisote and The Abangers: Set To Save the World from Digital Menace

In the tradition of offering family-friendly fare, Vic Sotto and his Dabarkads are back for another blockbuster fantasy-adventure movie based on the well-loved Pinoy pop culture icon! Kids are in for a treat as Bossing reprises his beloved role as Enteng Kabisote in the latest instalment of the movie series titled:  Enteng Kabisote 10 and The Abangers.

The comedy-adventure movie follows the reluctant hero in his latest fantastical escapade.  Through hard work and determination, Enteng Kabisote has used his talent to “butingting everything” to become an ironworks and robotics magnate. Since his last adventure in Engkantasya, he has settled down to becoming a successful businessman, community leader, and a doting grandfather to his cute and bubbly grandchild Benokis, as his son Benok (Oyo Boy Sotto) tackles fatherhood and his duty as a law enforcer.  Little does he know that trouble is brewing and he will be called on once again to save the world.

Enteng’s nemesis is Kwak-kwak (played by Epi Quizon), a power-obsessed villain who was booted out from Engkantasya. He has the capability to control minds who has launched a virtual reality game that transmits his mind control to anyone who plays it. The villainous plot is helped along by Bibi, Kwak-kwak’s devoted second-in-command and Bibe, his moronic but useful sibling, along with A1/ALLAN & A2/ALLAINE, the two creators of the viral game app which Kwak-Kwak uses as a channel to spread his psychic powers to control humankind.

To defeat Kwak-kwak and restore order in the real world, Enteng calls upon a team of misfits, who form his Abangers team. They are individuals who have unusual special powers and have been waiting for a long time to put these powers into good use.  The Abangers are actually OEWs (overseas engkantasya workers), whose powers Kwak-kwak needs to harness in order to fulfill his nefarious mission.

On his team, Enteng has three inimitable sisters: Nidora (Wally Bayola), a fierce but values-centric granny who possesses an equally fierce loud voice called "The Incredible Voice"; Tinidora (Jose Manalo), who has very quick reflexes and engaging dance moves called "The Flash Dance", and Tidora (Paolo Ballesteros), a flirtatious hot granny who channels her hot flashes to other persons through her stare. They are joined by Remy or “The Mister Iron", a tour guide and family guy who can seemingly flatten any tangible materials, Oring, a spunky female fortune teller in Quiapo who can perfectly predict anyone’s future but only for a span of two minutes, Lucas, a muscled handsome guy from Tondo who possesses incredible strength and a high pitched voice, and Bistika, a standup gay comedian who can perfectly blend himself with his surroundings -- while doing some pakganern splits!

Will Enteng and the Abangers be able to save the world? Moviegoers can find out in theaters real soon. The movie is directed by Marlon Rivera and Tony Y. Reyes, and produced by OctoArts Films, M-Zet Productions and APT Entertainment.

Allen says the coming year offers brighter prospects following the challenges of 2016. “2017 marks a new beginning for many, as it’s the year when the Prosperity Star is in the center of the Feng Shui chart.“ With all the negativity of 2016, everybody needs to know what they can do to make 2017 a positive one.”

The 12th outing of an annual event started in 2005, the 2017 Feng Shui Convention kickstarts a series of Feng Shui events around the Philippines and around the world. My De’Longhi Christmas Wishlist

I can't believe it that holidays approaching nearer. For sure, in the next couple of weeks, things will become more busy and hectic than ever. Christmas shopping, traffic jam and sale all around you.

Even though, we brainstorm of things that we wanted to give away to our friends and love ones. We sometimes think of something we might want to have or I would say that you’ve been dreaming for yourself.

In my case, It’s a fact that one of the best parts of our house is  the kitchen and that means I want to have and complete everything in my dream kitchen.

I love baking, cooking and eating. If I will be giving a chance to have added small domestic appliances in my kitchen it will probably the following DeLonghi products:

First is the Low-Oil Fryer & Multicooker Multifry Extra FH1363 - this low oil fryer and multi-cooker equipped with the double independent heating elements has an automatic mixing process with a most food capacity of 1.7 kg is perfect for me.

With Low-Oil Fryer & Multicooker Multifry Extra FH1363, I can cook different recipes and because it's a multi cooker making pizza, cake, risotto, and stew will never be so hard to do again. One thing I love about it was it's cool to touch so I will not worry if my son will accidentally touch it because of excitement.

Second is the Ice Cream Maker II Gelataio ICK 6000 - The De’Longhi Gelataio prepares real rich and creamy Italian ice-cream, It has its own cooling freezer mechanism with built-in compressor and refrigeration.

In my family, one of the favorites is ice-cream and with this ice cream maker, I can create different kinds of ice cream and sorbet. Every time I watched Master Chef Australia on TV. I always admire the ice cream maker that they use and it was inspiring to watch on how they make fantastic food, especially ice cream from the scratch and I said to myself that one day, I can also have that ice cream maker thing.

Lastly, I want to have the Contact Grill CGH 902C - is a 5-in-1 grill and griddle with high-precision temperature control and a unique ceramic dura-stone coating.

My loves eating breads, paninis and burgers are always on the list while husband and I love eating grilled meat. Weekend BBQ as always a fun bonding of the family after the long busy day on weekdays. I think the Contact Grill CGH 902C will be ideal for my family.

These appliances that I want to add to my kitchen will definitely awesome to have. My husband will also be delighted because one of his passions is cooking.

We certainly get gifts this Christmas. However, it would be nice to have those lovely kitchen gadgets listed here. So tell me, what's on your personal wish list this Christmas? Share with me any of your must haves on the comment below!

Climate Change Hackathon At The 8th NICP ICT Summit This November

In the commemoration of the 3rd anniversary of Typhoon Haiyan, Hack the Climate will stage its first ever Clean Technology Hackathon and Training happening in Palo, Leyte and Tacloban City. It is part of the 8th NICP ICT Summit 2016, in partnership with the National ICT Confederation of the Philippines (NICP), DOST Region 8, Philippine Science High School – Eastern Visayas Campus, Seed4com, Move.ph, Millenia Suites, ThinkLab and Unionbank of the Philippines.

Hack the Climate is a climate change themed Hackathon that is formed out of the desire of a two Princeton University College Students, named Michael Lanchanski and Jacob Scheer to help the Philippines in their battle for climate change through Technology and Innovation.  With the help of their Filipino counterparts, Elaine Cedillo, Diego Jose Ramos and Rizzel Jill Dy, Hack the Climate was born in June 2013.

Hack the Climate in Leyte is our 5th since we started and we hope that we can bring this project across the country” said Elaine Cedillo, the lead project coordinator for this leg.  “Hack the Climate is more than just a hackathon, it is our advocacy. Educating the students and young professionals about the adverse effects of climate change while challenging the developers to create a solution for climate change adaptation or mitigation, and through that, the participants are empowered to do something to help our environment,” she added.

THE CLEAN TECHNOLOGY PROJECTS AND THE HACKATHON
This year’s Hackathon is dubbed as “Hack the Climate Cleantech-Loban” and it will be a three-part event. They will be launching their first solar e-Learning facility for Alternative Learning System and a Solar Night Lamp assembly livelihood training program for the out-of-the school youth and partner NGO’s, plus a conference – hackathon about Climate Change Mitigation and CleanTech.

Philippine Toy Library located at Palo District 1, Barugo Leyte with more than 100 learners and at Pambujan, Samar with more than 90 learners will be the beneficiaries of an e-Learning set-up consisting of laptops from Huawei Philippines powered by solar panels which will be donated by Unionbank of the Philippines through their Go Beyond CSR.  The Solar Night Lamp that will be produced during the training will be donated to a fishing community in and around Tacloban.

The hackathon, a coding marathon, happening on November 9-10, 2016 at Philippine Science High School in Palo, Leyte, involves a specific theme where participants will be creating web or mobile applications, or hardware solutions. The conference happening simultaneously with the hackathon features speakers to educate and enlighten the audience to what is happening with our environment and how it affects each and every one of us, and different technologies which can be used to help in creating solutions.
